Nothing to see here, move along

Hello Mr. Fietkau,
My name is Akshata, an MS student, at North Carolina State University. I have been working on an outdoor wireless mesh network testbed project under the guidance of Dr. Sichitiu and Dr. Dutta.
We are using off-the shelf PCs with madwifi/atheros to build the mesh network. We were facing freezing and crashes with the madwifi driver. We applied all the patches available at openWrt execpt for wprobe. Madwifi works rock solid thereafter.
wprobe will be very helpful for our project (throughput estimation etc.) and we would like to take advantage of it. We tried to follow the Makefile of openWRT but couldn’t succeed. Could you kindly help us with the steps on how to install wprobe on a Desktop PC running Fedora 9 kernel 2.6.25.
Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Can you give me some more details on what problems you are facing when trying to compile it?
